I have recently started another poem. Along the lines of "Fire vs. Water" (in the sense of how it's arranged), "Sulfur's Blush" is about the discord between night and day (I'm sorry, but I can't explain it any better than that). As usual, I have no idea how long it will take....

What I can tell you though, is that the poem was inspired by a line from Marilyn Manson's "I Have To Look Up Just To See Hell." The line being, "The light shines in the darkness and the darkness will never understand it."

P.S. - To give you a glimpse into my weird ass mind, the title refers to a sunset.

Here's the first four lines....

It shines against me, in its omniscient glow
tearing me in place, from all that I know
the rays, viole(n)t in color, my pain begins to show
I writhe helpless, against the sun.
